Both universities pledge to establish a joint research platform for field research, use of resources and complementing each others technical benefits in order to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in sustainable agricultural development. Under this Memorandum, both universities agree on exchange of researchers. For example, Mehwish Zuberi is a doctoral researcher at HNEE with the junior research group TRANSECT who is studying agricultural intensification processes and their consequences in South Punjab with the aim to develop alternative sustainable pathways in a climate change scenario. She is currently hosted by MNSUAM for a two month long research stay. The memorandum is the first of its kind signed by HNEE with a university in Pakistan.
